About Tanya Storer

  • Married to Eric, Tanya shares in the day-to-day running of their cattle operation. They are proud to raise beef in the #1 cattle county in the country,¬†Cherry County.
  • Elected as a Cherry County Commissioner in 2014 and re-elected in 2018.
  • Honored as the 2019 Nebraska Republican Party Volunteer of the Year.
  • Tanya attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and earned her degree in Consumer Science and Education with a Family Consumer Science teaching endorsement.
  • Currently serves on the Blueprint Nebraska Board, the Nebraska DOT Innovation Task Force, the UNMC Advisory Board, the Region 4 Behavioral Health Board, and the Niobrara Council Executive Board.
  • Tanya has previously served on the Nebraska Cooperative Development Board, the Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation Board of Directors, as the Carver District 170 School Board Treasurer and as the President of Nebraska Sandhills Yellow Perch Cooperative Board.
  • Member of Sandhills Community Bible Church, Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation and the Nebraska Cattlemen.
  • Tanya and her husband Eric have three grown children, Braden, Hailey, and Emmet.
